After upgrading to the latest versions, my game seems to freeze forever after ending a turn. Sometimes I get an error that says "nagot gick fel! convarmynbr: error"

Can anyone help? I can't play at all.

Everyone has to be upgraded at the same time. Especially the host running the game. And they have to remember to shut down the game and restart it or its still running on an old version in memory.

it's happening to all of my offline games too, though

Did you upgrade correct?

Do you see the new version (3.04) on the start screen?

If there isn't 3.04 then maybe you upgraded while you've dominions open. The dom3.exe wasn't updated then! Reinstall the patch.

Check the upgrade messages line by line. There shouldn't be an error.

Nope, I see 3.04 on the start screen. I reinstalled anyway and still have the problem.

Please be sure you are entering the valid CD key found inside your manual.

Ive got a variant on this. (And why cant I type an apostrophe without Firefox wanting to search instead of entering it??) The error box has the same three words on top but the contents of the box are "no space left on bg". Ok terminates the game.

3.04, properly patched. Offline game. Ive played a few dozen turns since installing the patch and then this came up.

The wording of the message suggests a battleground overload. I had no big battles planned but I do have some forces of several hundered minotaurs each rampaging through one opponents lands and there are some very big enemy groups in the water near me, its possible one decided to come on land and attack me.

Replaying the turn with the orders cancelled avoids the crash. In the replay none of the big forces came ashore.

Followup: I've traced the error to trying to storm a particular castle.

You should attach the map files and saved game within the bug thread for the developers to examine.
Do not post in the bug thread without attaching the files otherwise it's just a fish story.

"no space left on bg" probably means that the Ermor army just doesn't fit into the battlefield map. I understand battlefields are supposed to scale with bigger armies; perhaps the castle makes this work in wierd ways.

I did get the battle to go by removing most of my troops from the square.

It's not ermor but I did have a force of hundereds of minotaurs.

Heh. I thought this was the cause because I misread your earlier post:

I read that as Ermor... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif
