Does one exist for the game?

No, that would be a very easy way to cheat for PBEM games.

Not like that stops anyone. I wanted it to edit my campaign game. Much easier than swapping to the scenario editor.

And you can't ajust leadership qualities and it's slower to change names.

If you're implying that cheating is easy I'm all ears to hear how.
Fact is that there isn't a save game editor and there won't be a save game editor. Someone asked that same question a while back and the answer was what I gave you.

I don;t know about PBEM as I haven't done that in years, but you can move the save files to the scenario editor and change stuff in there then more it back to the save directory.

But it doesn't do what I want it to do. I can't change leader ratings on both sides. On occation I want to make the AI better. And if the PBEM system was done right any edits would throw a flag anyway.

PBEM security protocols won't allow any tampering so no, you can't do that and play a secure game.

Yeah right, you really expect the gamesystem to be able to check every single bit of data (literaly) each and everytime a new turn file is loaded? Compare all unit and weapon data for each and every unit to both the basic stats for its type and to what it was for each specific unit in the previous turn played? That is a huge deal. Not worth the bother at all.
