I have a problem with the multiplayer game I am the host of. I made a mistake and I need to get back to the previous turn to host it again. I have the .trn and .2h files that me and others were sending, but I don't have a backup of my own .trn file, nor any other files.
Is it possible to roll it back in anyway? Even if it would mean my own (i'm the host) turn gets mixed up?

I usually include the fatherland file in backups (I have the pre- script copy them out to another directory).

But Im not sure if the fatherland is needed. You might just try taking down the game, make a backup, copy the older .2h files (not the trn files) into the game directory and restart it.

Hmm. I just tested it in singleplayer. Old 2h file, old trn file, new fatherland file. I successfully restored the old game even without using a backup fatherland file. The problem is that I don't know whether this is possible if you're missing one trn/2h in a multiplayer game.

Okay, I just tested that with a hotseat game.

Turn 1, I input orders.
Turn 2, I copied and pasted all the 2h and trn files EXCEPT those belonging to Jomon.
Turn 3, everyone except Jomon staled turn 2 -- but the turn 1 orders went fine, despite the fact they showed as not having done anything.
