Didn't I mention? I am a pastafarian! Almost every day I cook food in His holy image and consume it, thus eventually-or atleast symbolically-becoming one with/close to my creator. I always knew that the path of pasta was the one true religion but it wasn't until I was enlightened that I realized that so many know this undeniable and undilutable truth: that the universe was created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster-hallowed be It's Name, and that It is watching over all of us.
I'm also a non-practicing heretical Buddhist (in my spiritual spare time). I believe the image of the Buddha is the image of a well-fed, happy Pastafarian.

Happy Hogswatchnight Everyone!
If you are unfortunate enough to have never heard of this midwinter festival, do yourself a favour and read Terry Pratchett's novel Hogfather, or alternatively, check out this TV representation:

Watched this 4hr tv special of the Terry Pratchett's Hogfather on skyone and I was impressed, big time. Unusually it was as good if not better than the book, having very, very good actors helped alot. The evil assassin/death/Susan, deaths grand daughter, were particularly well played and were exactly how I always imagined them.
Anyone who is a Terry Prattchett fan who has not seen this yet, try to get hold of it, its excellent, probably the best TV show I will watch this christmas.
I have my fingers crossed that some more of his books make it to TV/Film, if they are of this quality. Far, far superior to the sickly sweet Harry Potter films. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/Sick.gif

Thanks Megloblob! By the way, didn't you used to be MegaBlob? or am I just going blind in my old age?
Anyway, the only downside to this is that I don't know where I can buy the DVD.

Meglobob huh? here I thought you were all squishy /threads/images/Graemlins/icon31.gif In my defense, I'm too vain to wear glasses out much (I look really hot in sunglasses and a cane though), so I've misplaced them and now everyone looks vaguely squishy to me.
