View Full Version : Lack of national summons / spells ?

Is it just me or do some nations have a whole lot of national summons, but other have none ? Ape nations have at least 1-2 summons per conjuration level for example. On the other hand, my most favorite MACHAKA has not a single national spell. And thats not considering that summoning swarms of minispiders or summoning a spider queen would make a whole lot of sense !

If i may say that, instead of massing some nations with national stuff, better make it even, to make the "less" interesting nations more interesting using national summons/spells/rituals !

I agree with this....some of the nations have 0 national summoning spells...and that really sucks for those nations

A bit more balance with the national spells would be nice, I agree. Although I do like it how most summonings and spells are an emergent property of national magic, rather than being hardcoded. Too many national spells and the game will lose some of its charm.

That sucks. Then again we did get the ability to mod in national summons / spells with the latest patch http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

I believe the developers plan on adding more national spells for the lacking nations as time passes. Currently its the holiday season so I estimate Illwinter patch updates will resume during the middle of next month and our next patch will arrive sometime during Feburary. That's just my guess.
