where can i find mods and maps?

hello everyone,
i so far havent been too successful in locating mods and maps for dom3.
im especially interested in maps that have special provinces or mods that beef up magic and magic items a bit.

i really dont know whats out there and where to find it.
any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated

It would be nice if somebody maintained a moderated, "sticky" post with all the mods and maps organized in one place though... forex:

MAPS
1. xxxx (v3.3, medium, 200 princes, MP)
2. bbbb (v1.0, small, 70 provinces)
3. zzzz (v2.1, large, MP, 600 provinces)

NATIONS
1. aaaa (v1.0, description)
2. cccc (v.9b, description)
3. dddd (v3.1, description)

PRETENDERS
1. ffff (v1.0, description)
2. gggg (v2.2, description)

MISCELLANEOUS
1. Z's Weapons Mod (v.8, description)
2. Y's Armor Mod (v1.0, description)
3. X's Collection of Minor Tweaks (v1.8, description)

Since I'm not volunteering, I'm just putting that out there as a wish list.

oh yes, that would be *VERY* helpful for all those who love playing the game but who are not really an active part of the community due to -- for example -- time constraints.
those might quickly get confused about where to find what.
