Incorrect Province Message after Siege Ends

This is really minor bug I noticed in SP:

Marverni was besieging me (with his god) in his former capital. I took his last province, and in my messages for the turn I had:

Plaguestink the God of Marverni has been permanently vanquished. ...

But now when I right-click on the former Marveni capital, I cannot buy Defense there, and I get a message about his army and a white indy flag on the province as in the jpg below. Next turn will be fine, the imaginary army should be gone (I think I've seen this before).

When a god dies, I believe that any armies still in the field become independents. That seems to be what your screenshot shows also. Usually thats unconquered provinces becoming indept but in this case apparently its the seiging army.

If this is the same as when you dominion-kill a god, the armies should vanish.

It's not an incorrect message, although it might be a bug.

When you kill someone in a fashion that leaves troops those troops stick around for 1 turn.

You really are being seiged by independents.
