View Full Version : LA Pangaea dominion

I'm having a problem with my dominion playing LA Pangaea. My outlying provinces are fine. I consistently get 8-10 dominion in those. It is my home province that is the trouble. I have played 3 SP test games now, and in each game, my home province dominion continually drops, unless I keep my pretender or prophet there. If I do so, I can usually keep it up to a 5 or 6 dominion, while my outlying provinces are still at 8-10. I have never seen this before. If I move my pretender and/or prophet out, it quickly drops to 0-1 or even negative dominion.

I'm patrolling like crazy, but never find an enemy preacher, so I don't think that is the cause (and this is 3 separate games, btw.) I'm totally confused by this. I have Growth 3 going, and a strong Earth bless, weak Nature bless.

And to the Perpetuality players, no, this is not the Pretender I am using in that game. Rush me and I'll sic my centaurs on you.

I don't know what it is, but sounds suspiciously like some issue related to the Vanishing Scales Bug. Send the saved game and a thorough description to the Illwinter Info email address: info(at)illwinter(dot)com

OT, but surely any email-harvesting spambots have learned to cope with the (at) (dot) obfuscation by now? If we were being slightly more obscure, like say, "gmail.com@bob.dole (reverse that)" I could see it doing some minor good, but (at)->@ (dot)->. is a simple substitution that is surely built into searchbots.

Thanks Edi. I did some research on the scales bug, and this does look like it. Although a particularly nasty version that does not get better over time.
