Dom3 on external hdd

Couple of months ago I had to go out of town for a business trip... I didn't want to install my copy of Dominions on my company laptop so I copied my installation directory to a flash drive and voila!
Naturally there was some bugginess involved with the occasional crash...but kudos to the designers for their wonderful work on this game!

oooh! That's cool. What type of problems did you run into? Any issue with logging into MP games? I so know I'm going to get busted for having it on my company laptop.

I had no issues with MP, just the occasional crash to desktop during turn resolution...also I was using 3.06...

I've got Dom3 on an external hdd myself, and it works just fine. Not even an occasional crash.
