Does anyone know how the petrification MR rolls is calculated? I'm not sure what the person being petrified has to roll against. I'm just curious what level of MR is considered very good -> excellent against a Gorgon SC.

Unless the Gorgon have penetretion items you are probably rolling against 10 with the Gorgon winning draws.

So an MR of 28-30 would be ridiculously good?

MR of 28-30 would be ridiculously good in every situation.

AFAIK, penetration items don't help against the petrification ability of the gorgon. They would of course work for the spell.

would penetretion items work with the sword stone and aegis? thanks.
