Hi, I am in a SP game playing MA C'tis (miasma dominion) and I have taken a growth scale.
I read somewhere that good scales apply only within one's own dominion, so presumably growth only applies to me. Does that mean that the miasma will affect my enemies more than my own non-lizard troops ? Will my, say, indie archers, get rarely diseased while enemy archers will die of disease often ? Or is the likelihood of getting diseased independent of growth scale?

Miasma will affect indies you buy. The stronger your dominion the faster they get diseased. You should count on any indies you buy getting diseased if they in your strong dominion more than a couple of turns.

Is that whether or not I have a growth scale ?

Growth scales have no effect on the rate of spread of miasma AFAIK.

With regards to tests I've seen of old age, disease is loosely tied to growth and death scales. I haven't heard anything one way or another with regards to Miasma, but if it functions the same, it should have a mild beneficial effect. Nothing dramatic, or clearly noticeable.
As to whether it will affect you or your enemy... Hostile dominion never grants the benefits of the scales to the inntruder, only the penalties.
On the plus side, your marshmasters do have enough nature magic to take advantage of several growth-magic combinations.

Could you spell that out more, please? It's surprising that no one has come up with a detailed list of the various undocumented affects of the different game scales. I even started a thread on it.

Growth has no effect whatsoever. I have 3 growth in the Big Game and my indies go down hard and fast in my dominion where it is strong.
My AQ is going to die of disease as well. Wonder what she will look like when the next guy summons her?
Maybe the Elemental Royalty should come out "whole" every time they are summoned. Shrug.

Yeah, she has been through a lot. Thanks Velusion for the tidbit that she was available(:
I am not sure what the AQ will do this turn. She is saying,"Hear my dreams of Ryleh."
Besides not knowing wth that means, i do not even know to which Ryleh she is speaking. All 3 are still alive. While only 1 has dreamlands, since she is insane she could be yapping at any of them.

I think "Hear my dreams of R'lyeh" just means "Do nothing".
Maybe LazyPerfectionist was referring to things like tangle vines (have forgotten the spell names) being more effective in a Growth dominion. That's the kind of thing I always forget about, but it might make a significant difference I suppose.
