Map making: Streams

Searched around here and poked through the manual again and couldn't find anything, soooo.

Is there any way to lay a stream in the editor, and get only the stream? If I lay more than 1 hex at a time, without fail, it gets lined with swamp/rough/grass/other stuff I don't want. I only wanted a stream I tells ya! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I can get naked stream if I do one hex at a time, but it results in every hex being a ford.

Depends on terriain, if you make stream in swamps you'd get level -2, ie stream.
Other than that, on fieds where you don't want ford, '*' and -2 saves the day http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
