There were 5 global spells already in place. The AI casted 2 new globals and now there are 6. Is this a new feature or a bug? I'm not using any mods.

In a less obscure reference, the third wheel. He's saying it doesn't belong there.
The 2 new globals were Stellar Focus and Riches from Beneathe so given their global positions they seem to be sharing the same global slot of the one they replaced.

Very intresting... I wonder if I can find a way to reproduce this, or even exploit it.
I remembered once when me and a friend tryed to reproduce bugs in starcraft and I got a diffrent bug. He refused to believe me. I will not do the same you.

I just had 6 globals in a game, too. Marignon vs Machaka, 1 vs 1.. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif I can attach a screenshot, but this guy already did, soo

More screenshots are definitely welcome, but I'd consider this a minor bug compared to other game issues which are marked as RED within the bug thread.

That AI opponent has two nasty global spells active: Kindly Ones and Wraith of God

This could have have huge consequences in the larger MP games...
Could someone confirm if the global limit is just complete busted in 3.10?

And I went for a test 2 hours ago casting all six globals in the screenshot (Focus & Riches last) and "Your global enchantment is dispelled blah blah...".

i think one of the globals has been dispelled or ended in some way, but remains on the list. i've seen that happen before.

sounds like two were cast at the same time, right?
could the computer logic be:
if global cast..
see if 5 already
if so, remove one
add new global(s)
and somehow both globals go into the list, but only remove one?

I'm in a 3.10 game at this moment... 5 globals were active and at the start of the next turn 3 new globals were casted successfully. The end result was 5 active globals.
I'm not sure what combination provides 6 globals, but I'm sure some of the hardcore gamers are hunting for the secret combination.
