Where did the Battle Ship / Naval Support go?

Can any one account for the missing Naval support in SPMBT. I belive it was included the orignal Steel Panthers game.

AFAIK it's still there, you just need to have beach assault battle.

And also - be the assaulting player to be able to buy it.

Plus - be a nation that has a navy (e.g. not Switzerland http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif)

Also it depends on when your battle is.
For instance the USMC (OOB #13) has battleships available between 1/46-12/69 and 1/83-12/95.
