Hi all. Llamabeast is hereby urged to start a Sloth-game. Sloth is a South American Mammal and will fit his naming tradition. Sounds laid back and cool. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

I have convinced JK to play as well.

LA Abysia needs some attention, so thats my call.
JK will go for LA Marignon.

Hmm, perhaps it is better if Llamabeast posts, since he usually manages his game threads.

How could I pass this up after the fun that was Armadillo? Count me in as R'lyeh.

Must resist. I am already in too many games. But this game sounds way too tempting, and there is a setup with Ulm I would really like to try.

*** tries to resist. Fails MR roll.

Okay I am in as Ulm.

I'll give Man a try, sign me up.

Ahh, so tempting to play with the developers. Alas, I am in five games already, and subbing in others. Plus, I don't have the foggiest idea how PBEM works.

Aethyr

Midgard please

I think I would prefer a somewhat cramped, but big game.

Big gives more players the opportunity to play with us.
Cramped makes for insta-action.
If big then I think I want to try slower research, although I'm not sure if it suits my balance testing.

Save me a slot in this game. I have not decided on nation yet.

Awesome, well organised Kristoffer! Turn my back for a minute...

I will play, not sure what nation yet. Can't really miss an opportunity to play with both developers!

Caelum for me I think, please.

It'll be at the very deep end for me but where better to learn?
I'll take Tien Chi!

HJFudge

Does anyone have any thoughts for maps?

Beg Velusion for help. He makes great maps.

I can work through generating up some random ones if people want.

I think slower research would give Ermor even more of an advantage. LA games always end up with Ermor having huge armies and everyone else gaining up on Ermor. You can't beat Ermor with troops. You need magic.

Aha. I have no experience with Ermor.
What if Ermor end up dead early on?

llamabeast

I am inclined to think slow research would be fun too. Ermor can be held in check with priests I think? He should not be able to cause too much devastation.

Right, I have created a new thread for this game to make it easier to admin getting the game started - please post to that one instead.

Slow research sounds very cool. I'm interested to see how that would turn out in some big MP games.
