I am a new user of SPWW2 and can't get enough of it. This makes my wife very unhappy. Does anyone know if this game has caused a divorce yet? Thank's to Shrapnel for a great game and website.

Haven't heard of one directly but anything's possible.

Glad you like the game.

Welcome Aboard Brummbar!! Welcome to my obsession, and grand one at that. My wife seems to understand to the point that my Rig is set up in the main living area of our home. It beats the hell out being sequestered in the basement or backroom.

Looking for any advice feel free, I've been at this since 1994.

Thank's for the welcome Panzer Bob. I game out in the main living area too. That is both a blessing and a curse. Anyway I will keep you in mind for any advice. At this time I am enjoying trying to figure it all out on my own(forum help of course).
I really like your quote, Heinz G. is one of many people in history I like to keep up with.

Welcome aboard!!!
There is much less risk for several reasons.
First, at best you're playing with the "guys".
Second, you're not playing a massively multiplayer role playing game and not likely to get into any compromising situations.

Hi Brummbar,

I remember the first time I played SP with my brand new Logitech Sub-Woofer positioned on the hard-wood floor under my heavy oak desk. My wife says it sounded like a tank had just driven into our living room. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I've found that a decent headset can be invaluable at times.

cheers,
