I just patched dominions 3 on my laptop to 3.10. After doing this, it prompted me to reenter my CD key. However, I'm 1000s of miles from home right now and don't have this available. I brought my laptop with me because I was hoping to play Dom3 while away, but now I can't. Is there anyway to get around reentering the CD key? Or can I rollback the patch and gain access to Dom3 again?

You're not going to find information on how to defeat the CD-key protection here, since this is the game's official site and all.

I can't speak to a rollback, since I haven't heard of anyone else suffering from this issue. The CD key (named "key") is normally located in the Dominions folder though, so if you can recover it maybe that'll clear up your problem. Otherwise, well, you'll have something to look forward to when you get back home. =)

Warez key that got blacklisted, perhaps? When keys stop working on a patch that's the prime suspect in any program.

Other than that, as Micah said the key is stored in plaintext in the folder where the game is installed.
