Hi there!

I'm completly new here.
Is there an easy way to entrench - w/ sandbags - one unit?
I've started to create a scenario and I want some units to have sandbags. And I didn't want to see holes n trenches ect.

(The only method was to buy some units, deploy them to the corrct place, push the entrench button, than go back to the purchase screen and buy all other units. But I found this a bit complicated.) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/Sick.gif

Man I love this game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I think you can not do sandbag entrenchments for infantry units. However you can purchase things like sandbag foxhole under fortifications in the unit purchase screen. This sandbag foxhole have weapons and a crew, which bails out if the foxhole is destroyed and crew survives. Then the crew only have pistols though.

Please, if you are completely new, read the Game Manual, if you havenīt yet. Thereīs massive amounts of good info there and surprisingly easy to use.

Thanks, but I originally wanted to entrench some AAA units. Well at least someone replied:)
(Also I didn't know about that foxhole you've mentioned. So thanks anyway)

You cannot entrench only a few selected units. In an assault/defend mission, the defender is dug-in, all of them, unless deployed in a marsh or a few other places where trenches are not allowed. The assaulter will have mortars, and infantry that deploy on foot etc in trenches.
