My commanders keep healing from disease!?!?!?

I confirmed this twice. Twice now I saw my commanders have 1 HP with disease and the next turn they are fully healed without any disease. I can't confirm this, but I'm pretty sure they lose all afflictions too. I saw this happen twice without any possible way to heal afflictions.

Edit: Oh wait, actually I can only confirm this once.

What commander was it?

There also are sites that heals afflictions:

Healing Spring, water-2. 10% heal.

Lyfjaberg, nature-0. 50% heal (you'd see this one though).

Are the commanders in question shapeshifters? Sometimes changing forms in battle causes afflictions to vanish.

Yes, they heal afflictions, including disease. Nice indeed!

I once had a diseased commander gain 5 months of life from an assassination attempt. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
EA Marverni Druid, started the fight at 2 HP, cast Blessing first round, which gave him Regeneration. By the time his bodyguards finished off the assassin, he was back up to his full 8 HP.

After the fight, he lost 1 HP to the disease again.
