The LlamaServer has now been patched to Version 3.15. Speedy or what? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Happily, as players it is impossible to do anything wrong. You can take your current turns using either 3.14 or 3.15, it doesn't make any difference. Next turn you will have to take using 3.15 - but if you try to open it using 3.14 it won't let you, so again it is impossible to make a mistake.

However, take note if you are playing any non-llamaserver games: The host may not patch immediately, and if you don't have an unpatched version you will be in trouble. So, BEFORE you patch, COPY THE WHOLE DIRECTORY and call it something like Dominions3_14. Then patch the Dominions3 directory. Then you can carry on using your unpatched copy for any unpatched games.

I sure would advise against such speedy patching. Dominions is notorious for introducing new game-breaking bugs with some patches (for example the new scale-bug and the HoF-killing Doom Horror) so waiting a couple days to see if any surface is always smart in my opinion. Although I suppose patching the llamaserver is the quickest way to test the patch given how many games you have running http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Fair point Jurri! Okay well, I guess we will find out soon enough...

I am really curious how fast that bad scales will get repaired, I am really not pleasant after playing 50 turns with order 0 instead of 3 in most of my provinces.

You shouldn't get order 3 in most of your provinces in any event. Unless you have a strong dominion your chance of having a scale:3 is small.

I don't think that's true chris. After a long time, scales in all your provinces should reach the scales of your pretender. It goes quicker if you have stronger dominion, of course.

Awesome! Thanks Kristoffer! There's loads there I haven't heard of. Also if I get good at the game I will presumably have a whole load of South American mammals I can recognise on sight - there's a transferrable skill for my CV!
