icon size

Is there a way to reduce the size of the unit icon? I prefer vehicle icons that do not occupy the whole hex. SPWAW has an option to select icon size...

No.

WaW uses the SP3 code - and that had a method of reducing the unit size, or one view where the 4-5 individual units of a platoon were shown as 4-5 tiny little sub-icons in the same hex (SP3 was a platoon a unit scale game).

We have only ever had a couple or requests for this feature and neither Andy nor I had any love for it when we (briefly)played SP3 so there has been very, very little incentive to add it.

Yes "SPWAW has an option to select icon size" and we offer things in these games that game doesn't have. Different games, different parent code and different design teams with different likes and dislikes regarding game play.
