I'm sure that this isn't supposed to be happening, but I've often had an enemy pretender in my dominion get a hit point *boost*.

I checked the shortlist and searched the forums, but haven't found anything referring to hit point boosts in enemy dominion

HP modifiers are based on the province the god was in the turn *prior* to the fight. So if the god moves from a dom(10) province to fight dom(-10), then the god's HP are based on dom(10).

MR and other modifiers are based on the current province though, I think.

Current hp are based on previous turn, but Max Hp are based on this province's dominion.

This affects a few things. Regen most obviously.
Worse, the chance of getting an affliction is based on Max hp. So if you've got 200 hp, but only 15 Max, and take 4 or 5 20hp hits...

Thanks thejeff. That explains some behaviours I've seen lately that I did not understand very well.

This sounds like a bug since it is not intuitive. Current HP should be based on the current province if MaxHP and all the other dominion based boosters are.
