Thoughts on Finding Water sites

I have never cast Voice of Tiamat - spell seems pretty steep at 8 gems. Is this a recommended way of finding water magic sites? I am trying to decide whether to use Voice of Apsu on several land provinces vs. Voice of Tiamat on a single water province vs. trying to make boosters and send a W4 mage to do some scuba / manual site searching.

Voice of Tiamat is great for water province searching since it locates all elemental sites, and not just water sites, in the water provinces you cast it on. That includes; water, air, earth, and fire sites.

Voice of tiamat is part of the reason UW nations can be very scary. They often have crazy gem income in the midgame.

Often they need to burn alot of that gem income to crawl ashore ... and then burn a whole bunch more to keep from being pushed back under the waves.
