I'm curious why we don't have those guys in DOM3 ? Maybe as a summon or a group of mercenaries ? What do you think ? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

That could make for one heck of a bad luck event.

"Fire Giants have attacked and razed your province, killing off the entire population."

Because that would be Ragnarok, the end of all things.

Early Era
Middle Era
Late Era
Ragnarok

I think we're on to a good idea here.

Ragnarok: 9F 9D path req. 90 fire gems, 90 death gems

All troops from your nation are thrust into combat with the troops of every other nation combined.

How about some creative endgame megaspells for different combinations of paths?

Like a truly massive, and involuntary, deathmatch? I've never before considered how a computer and the Bifrost bridge might have something in common!

I'm thinking of makeing a mod for this some time now.

Muspelheim, this is, a middle era version of Jotuns that is more along the ultimate power of Nifleheim and less like Jotunheim with it's Goblins between the knees of Hill Giants. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I have long (since the days of dom2) intended to make a Muspelheim nation (a theme back then), but I have never got around and started it. It has always been one of the approximately five nations I intend to create. When I make one or two, one or two new ones appears in my buffer of unmade nations http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Someone started on a muspel mod in dom2 i think. You might find some inspiration there perhaps.

Little known fact about the Ragnarok spell:

If at any point in the game a commander with Awe gets killed under friendly fire by a commander with 0 precision, that commander will show back up in your capital and replace your Pretender if s/he died during the spell.

Is this a bug or WAD?

It's a bug.
Precision 0 should not be a requirement, use of weapon #163, 136 or 303 should.
