Design Team:
I happened to look at the campaign setup for this new campaign and noticed that node 003 and node 004 are seemingly connected to the same scenario file named Interv 03: Esmeraldas. Is it just a naming error building the campaign files or are both nodes pointing to the same file? I didn't want to look any farther and spoil any suprises before I start the campaign. Thanks for checking it out.

Well that's interesting. In my working copy of the game Node 3 points to Interv 03: Esmeraldas and node 4 points to Interv 04: Munitions Depot but somehow in the build copy of the patch a different file was used and both nodes point to Esmeraldas.
I will sort this out ASAP

Attached in the correct .DAT file for the campaign "Armed Intervention 1999 " .
Extract it to your WinSPMBT/Campaigns folder.

A little late to this thread, but I recently had the occasion to reinstall WINSPMBT and Armed Intervention campaign. I applied the patch *after* I started and saved campaign progress and got to the problem with the path on Scenario 3. It still paths me back to Scenario 3 after winning. Do I need to start a new game? (Gulp!)

Don,
I've just upgraded to v5.5 from v5.0. After patching, I started Armed Intervention campaign fresh after running into the pathing problem in a earlier try. Well, the pathing problem is still occuring. After Esmeralda, I get the text screen for continuing to the "dynamite house", but when the map loads, I'm looped back to Esmeralda again.
I double checked the date (04/13/3008) of the .dat update you posted here and it's identical to the file that was already in patch v5.5. I'm confused.
On a separate note, what is the actual scenario and campaign count for v5.5. I'm currently showing 258 scenarios (including duplicates) and 12 campaigns. Is that right?
Thanks,
Dwight

Your scenario and campaign count for V5.5 is correct. The duplicate scenarios that were in 5.5 have been replaced for 6.0 and the game will have a total of 272 scenarios when v6.0 is released.
I will review the files for Armed Intervention tonight, until I do I cannot comment further

Preliminary investigation shows my main working game and the virgin game I use to only test instalations use the same file I posted here dated 4/13/2008 12:02pm.
My next check will be the ensure the correct scenario has been linked to follow Esmeralda. If both of my games show the same correct scenario we'll take the next step but I won't be able to check that for awhile

Don,
Thanks for confirming the scenario / campaign count.
Curious as to what you find out on the pathing issue.

I have put out a call to the designer but I'm not going to bet serious money I will hear back from him in time for the next patch OR that he can help right away.
From what I can see at some point back when the scenarios were assembled into the campaign #3 was pasted into the #4 slot in error. Both #3 and #4 scenarios I have extracted from the campaign are exactly the same size and so are the corresponding DAT files in the campaign files as well. Both the same size BOTH with the same creation date.
Everything I see points to a duplicate #3 scenario added into slot 4 in error but I won't know for sure until I speak with the designer and he's not the easiest to get a hold of at the best of times so unless we get a miracle I suspect any resolution of this problem is going to have to wait.
I'm sorry but that's the best I can do at this time.

Don,
Thanks for checking out the pathing issue. It's much appreciated.
I'll just put the campaign on hold until there is a workaround or it gets patched.
Thanks again.

I have not been able to contact the designer as yet and that sent me on a search and to my great surprise I found the original zip file the campaign came in and am looking at it now. I may have a fix for this by the end of the week

A fix for this campaign has been posted HERE (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=48637). Please download and install this file to correct this campaign
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE ATTACHEMENT TO POST #3 IN THIS THREAD FOR THAT CAMPAIGN.
THAT FILE WAS ADDED TO THE 2009 PATCH
