Let's say a Communion Master casts a MR-checking spell that gets cast on the Commmunon Slaves (let's say Astral Shield).

Who's Penetration is used? The Master, the Slave, or is it base?

I think it would be the caster's *ahem* penetration.

does penetration even apply to defensive enchants that check the aggressors MR?
