I want to install the ANZAC campaign ver1. But I fear that can change the gameplay because it is ver1, and my game is ver3. Any suggestions?

Hi,
You may install it without any problem since it doesn't modify any exe or OOBs.

It is BRUTAL!
Be prepared to play the premier campaign in the SP series.
You'll never work harder to get a victory in any other scenarios...I promise.
Hi Pyros...good to see you are still keeping watch :-)

Thank you my friend Jason,
p.s RightDeve if you are not an advanced player you better play another easier campaign because this one is based on human tactics with massive tactical movements, preplanned artillery strikes, AI movement based on waypoints and adjustable difficulty...
Each victory will bring you more misery...and many more casualties.
cheers,

Any sign of Part II, Pyros?

I am working on the basic plan, with few battles in Crete and many in Africa (but this will take time and will be a separate campaign),
Less historical accuracy in favor of the gameplay
Smaller scale (in general)
Less formations
Quicker battles (based on special operations)
More random factors (based on probability of AI reinforcements which will play bigger role when dealing with fewer units)
Bigger diversity in the adjustable difficulty

my friend hoplitis,
Is it the trip to Ithaka or Ithaka itself that matters the more?
quote from the poem “Ithaka” by C. Cavafy - regarding the journey home of Odysseus (aka Ulysses) after the Trojan War ended.
Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you’re destined for.
But do not hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so that you are old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich.
Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.
And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you will have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.

Words of wisdom!
But be aware! The times favor speed over wisdom,"surface" over depth, managers over creators .............
Keep in touch from time to time.

I tried to comprehend the instructions for this campaign but I couldn't grasp what to do. The opening scenario describes how to follow the easy path. But I never get to a choice screen. I deployed the units and end the turn and the scenario immediately ends with a decisive loss. Okay but then it sends you right to another scenario without stopping at a choice screen. Can you give me an idea of what to do? It looks like an intriguing campaign.

Once you deploy your units, you will have to move one of them to the victory location of your choice.
Each victory location has a description next to it.
