Croatia, May 2008, Defender 500MD helicopter, available july 1995 to 2020. I was under the impression it was a light gunship but I noticed it doesn't have any weapons. Is this as designed or something else?

It's there as light scout helo.

You mean Croatia uses the 500MD as a scout heli only? Weird choice by their armed forces.
