Settings:
Map - Glory of the gods (negotiable)
Game name - supermagic
Gold, Resources, Supplies - standard (negotiable)
Independents - 9 (negotiable)
HoF - 15 (negotiable)
Renaming - allowed
Research - easy (would like a mod to make all researching done before start)
Score graphs - on
early ages
75 magic sites

The rules of this game is all points are spent on magic for the pretender.
No positive scales negative scales are optional.
Also pretenders are imprisoned.

This will completely cripple many nations. And luck (not the scale) will play an
awfully great role in a game like this. Misfortune+Death will be Hell on your
already bad income.

One thing is certain. 'Super magic' is a bad name. I suggest 'Frustration'.

Some suggestions-

Unlock scales, and especially Dominion.
Many summons require food, and with all dominions spreading 3 Death, there will be few supplies anywhere. To compound that problem, there will be a very finite amount of Blood Slaves possible in such a decaying world, so with no food and no demons, may as well all it "super undead game". http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

In actuality, if you engineer the game to make recruited troops play a smaller part, you don't want auto or even fast research. To make a game out of it, you need to force choices and strategies as far as researching.

Also, if it's the super magic game, why is everyone set to 3 Drain? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif


I dub this game "Diseased Tartarian Deathmatch". Except, a couple of players won't have diseases.....

Sorry I just wanted a lot of points on the magic and I could not think of another way to do it.

You guys are right it would not work any ideas how to do it?

You could simply say no one can take positive scales, only negative ones although they are optional. That will still leave a lot of points for magic even if people don't take any negative scales.

Lots of people will take sloth 3 anyway so that will leave a lot of points for magic paths.
