Generated campaign bug/oddity?

Hi,

After my Italian vacation I was playing a generated campaign with a reinforced Alpini company vs USSR. It's all fine and dandy, (save for my scouts dying too often http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif), but what bugs me is that every next battle is a meeting engagement, despite numerous reloads. I'll finish the current battle and upload a save on last turn.
