Greetings!
First, thanks for the new patch : )
I’m happy to see that our work with characteristics of some soviet planes (MiG-27s) was wholesome.
==
I saw that MiG-27's got survivability=0 now (at previous version it was 5 and must be 5 for regular MiG-27 and 4 for Caira with lighter armor).

Some folk put "survivability" on planes.
This is irrelevant for planes, since that factor is only used for the chance for surviving crews to bail out of a destroyed vehicle. Destroyed aircraft do not deploy crews.

So, the game's code is not using this parameter for the planes?? It can be zero or it can be ten - it is indifferent?
(I saw "survivability" at planes in encyclopaedia for the years..) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Is it was used for other purposes before?

No - planes do not eject a crew element. So no need to see if the shell fragments whizzing around inside decapitate a few less. Planes have their own damage routines and armour (e.g. A-10 etc) that is completely different from land vehicles.
Survivability will be shown in all units in the encyclopaedia, even if irrelevant for that class. It shows all data fields.
It may make 1-2 points difference in the C/C if you set it properly to 0 for any plane or helo that had some. Otherwise - simply ignore it if someone has been erroneously adding it. It is not worth going through 32K database entries to remove it to shave a few points off here or there for some entries.
