I have D/L Worthy Heroes 1.08 and it IS in my MOD Prefrence catagory and says enabled.

By description it say that I will have 2 heroes (at the start) or a multi-Hero (which I am not sure what that means).

I started a game on the Warhammer Map as Arcoscephale with Worthy Heroes Enabled but I still have only 1 hero and it is the same hero (with the same stats) as when I play without WH enabled.

Maybe I am misreading the description ot perhaps I am supposed to get a another hero very soon, but I am on turn 6 and none yet.

Any Ideas?

Thanks!!!!!!

I don't think Worthy Heroes changes your starting heroes. but it can change the heroes you receive throughout the game.

The MA Arco multihero is an Oeniad. The very good EA Arco mage. Very nice.

It is Epic Heroes, a MA only mod, which changed the 'scout' hero (I think) to a 'super' hero. I think MA Arco gets an Elephant Hero. Again very nice. But then most of the given starting heroes in Epic Heroes are. Thats the whole point of the mod http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

heros and multi heros are a luck event.

the chance is (more or less) 3% +/- 1% per point of luck.

Heros, means there are two (additional) national heros you can get.

A multihero is a hero that can occur time after time after time.. like the gladiator heros for.. who was it.. Pythium?

Luck is a big determinant of how many heroes come. It is something like 4% +/- your luck score per turn of one offering his/her/it's services. So Misfortune 3 will yield very few heroes but Luck 3 plenty....

I'm pretty sure it's 3% + Luck scale, and thus Misfortune 3 removes any chance of getting a hero.

As Endoperez and Chrispedersen said, heros are special commanders that can arrive randomly at your capital dependign on your luck scale.

The description just means that every nation has at least some heroes enabled, so high luck is not wasted on any nation.

In the basegame there are a few nations that do not have any heroes at all and will therefore never get one.

you can use the Epic Heroes Mod. That mod does start you out with a thug like hero, as long as you are playing a MA race other than ashdod.

Curses you KO! j/k. Now I have to update my mod. Just realized we have a missing hero now for a ma race!
