Green dragon does not get Vine Men bonuses?

I notice that when the Dragon is in druid form his description says he gets the Vine man bonuses, but this did not happen in game. Is this a bug, or is this to make him appear to enemy players like he is a genuine druid?

Vine Lord now has an icon, yes? So the deception isn't going to work in practice. Not that anyone ever believes it anyway when he sees a rainbow mage like a Druid with nothing but nature magic.

Lol. I guess the vine lord ability wasn't factored into his points spread? I picked him because I read in his description that I'd get lotsa vine men. :-) Then I restarted and picked the druid instead because I always get my uber pretenders killed when I send them into battle on turn 1 anywa, hehe.
