So, in a current MP game as Patala I've noticed that when casting flaming arrows, not all missile weapons are getting the fire bonus. Meaning that Bandar and Atavi archers get the bonus while Markata archers and light Bandar warriors (the one with sticks and stones) do net get the bonus.

Any advice on that?

I find this very surprising, because I was under the impression that *all* missiles, ie arrows, bolts, javelins, sling stones, and even boulders get it. Why only sticks and stones would be excluded, I cannot even fathom.

Both. From the mechanics point of view it's WAD. All weapons that get flaming versions actually have a counterpart named "Fire <weapon name>", so long bow becomes fire long bow, which is a normal long bow with a secondary effect of fire (8 AP or 6 AP, don't remember). Currently small bow and sticks & stones do not have fire versions.

It's a bug in he sense that those missile weapons should have fire versions. I should add that to the shortlist when I fix the formatting.

I knew about the stick and stones and I had the impression it was intended. And I thought even boulders didn't have one. But if boulders have it, well the poor small bow seems an unfair absentee ^^
