Greetings,

Here's some Dominions Icons. Works best for Kiba Dock, AWN and alike (or use'em on the Desktop).

For the mod one, does it fire you right into a game with the mod loaded or something?

Yes, if you do;

orion@universe:~$ dom3 -u [game name]

as launcher command.

or use --enablemod Nosophoros to enable the mod.
So to start dominions 3 in fullscreen and enable Nosophoros you do;
dom3 -u --enablemod Nosophoros.dm

You can run dom3 with --help flag in the terminal to see which flags there are available. though no man dom3

Pretty simple.

Going into a started game loads the mod anyway.
Using enablemod is great for an icon that will load the mod so you can go into making a pretender or starting a new game with it.

I can use all the icons I can get. The Dom3 disc one I think I will use for my vanilla copy. (to remind me what does and doesnt come included)

I also use a separate icon for things like:
a) standard gaming. sets my preferences for things like renaming, hall of fame, independents strength, windowed, music off, click volume down
b) go directly into the last game I was playing
c) to make "this turn" backups of all my domgames
d) go directly into a game on another server by setting the IP address and port number
e) ugly fast. turns off almost all of the fancy features, low graphics, no intro screen, no credit screen. fast in and fast out for checking on something
f) map generating. sets my preferences for colors, size, more mountains, less sea

Gandalf Parker, maybe you can use this. Dom3 Icons mixed with KDE4 Crystal Project Icons -

Very nice. Those will be handy.

One of the things I kept meaning to do was convert Dom3 gods into icons. Then maybe some of the powerful summonings.

What did you had in mind? One of the pretenders sprites, put some shadows around it?
Perhaps making them as .svg files instead of .jpg and .png as .svg files can be resized without loosing quality. you can use inkscape for that purpose.

Ive got the games sprites in a library and could probably run some sort of iconizer on all of them. I have used the sprite image of my favorite gods as icons to go directly into some of the long-running mp games.

Very good work Thilock! I'm using them with gnome right now.
