Hi,

let me say first that I enjoy WinSPMBT very much, so the following is just a suggestion:

What do you think about introducing WEGO (simultaneous turn-based engine) as an alternative mode?
Think it could improve the realism although the development of this feature would no that easy, I guess...

I'm still playing Flight Commander 2 (tactical modern jet sim) and there WEGO works very well...

I'm pretty sure that implementing something like that would require a huge chunk (Almost all of it, really) of game code to be re-written. Considering how busy the folks working on SPMBT already are, I don't think they will ever have the time and inclination to do this.

Have you tried Combat Mission: Shock Force? It's not as comprehensive as SPMBT, but it's got a turn sequence like you're looking for.

Implementing something like that would require a completely new game engine, so I guess no chance ;)

Yes, but I do not like it...Steel Panthers is much better in my opinion (random maps, very huge scope, generic AI etc.)...WEGO is perhaps an option for the next engine :)

Wouldn't that be a whole new game?
A whole new game would be good for the Cammo group, if they can pull it off.
