Have just fired up winSPMBT to start a campaign and none of them have any forces in them.

When I click start I'm taken to the Purchase screen and it's empty except for the HQ unit.

Where have they gone?

Correction:

I appear to have lost the forces for '5th Marines 1967' and 'Thunder in the Sinai'

Now how the hell did that happen?!

You are provided with purchace points to buy your cores and both campaigns have text files that offer suggestions on what to buy.

OK - you have an ongoing campaign, and you have lost the core forces you have bought during the campaign? - now that would be a bug. I do not think that is the case here.

Or - you have just started the campaign, and the force list is an HQ and some purchase points?. That is normal, though some User Campaigns do have fixed core elements. Use the supplied purchase points to buy your core, following any advice given in the introductory text.

For some reason, I've got it in my head that the 5th Marines 1967 campaign already had the core force picked for you.

But I've just read the campaign description again and spotted this 'You have enough points to purchase a reinforced US Marine infantry company.'

DOH!!! I'm a total muppet.

Hey, enjoy the possibility of being able to pick your core forces - I find it more entertaining (though potentially less historically accurate) than having go to with a pre-chosen force.
