when i was testing units and deploy another strange thing happened
i put player 2 force value 250pts and ai then i forwarded with my apc to see how far it goes in turn 1 and what i see is russian hind costing 275 with computer point value to spent in troops 250 (minus hq)
how is this possible ?
i exited the game and checked again and there it was 250pts
strange
anyone have an idea how / why?

I'll ask the same question we always ask in situations like this.
Do you have a save game ?????
You do not tell me which nation player one is or what year or what battle type or what force value you set P1 to and all that would be clear with a save game
So no.... I have no idea why that might have occured perhaps with more information I will

Was it a single battle or a campaign setup?

I still don't know which nation player 1 was set to. Virtually ALL information in cases like this could be relevant as is, as Narwan noted, what type of game it was

A meeting engagement in the battle generator, or a meeting engagement in a campaign game?. The AI takes no notice of the points you set for preferences for P2 in a campaign game.

We've tried to simulate this and every time we get what we should be getting so we have no idea if it was something in the game or the way you had your preferences set up or it's a totally random one in a million event that will never be repeated
If you see this happen again save the game and post it along with the details of your preference file
