One Siren as per the spell (flying, stealthy, amphibious, awe, A1W1). I only had 1 Luck (and 4 Dom)!

I've gotten that event before. it is quite awesome.

You get it all the time with a water nation that has land provs. It's good, but not great.

Or should I say, land coastal provs.

I really like this event. I wish there were a few more like it that gave low powered but often very useful mages or Thugs. I am not talking about handing out wandering Niefel Jarls every turn to anyone who picks a point or two of luck. Just a few extra events that give you some more variety of commanders.

I got the most random event free mages in a game with luck-3, magic-3 scales. The magic-3 may have been coincidence though.

A similar event gives you a N/B mage or druid, can't remember exactly. I also got a water mage once, and a strange assassin (Ellusian?).

I don't think its a coincidence. I have got a Siren a few times but no other mages that I can recall. I often play with Luck scales but I have never played a game with magic 3 scales (or even magic 2). So maybe I need to vary my scales a bit :)

There are other mage events. You can get Wind Masters, Ice Druids, Lore Masters and Stalkers (the Elludian assassin, no magic) from events. I have gotten all of these, but I don't know what the requirements were. Ice Druids require cold for the event to happen.
