This thread is intended to bring together all the new MP games looking for players, and possibly any games seeking substitutes, at some point. If you're starting a new MP game, please reply to this thread with the information requested at the bottom of this post. Once the game is full, please reply to this thread again, stating the name of the game and that it has been filled; I will remove these games from the list.

The list is still in Alpha at the moment, and might not be feasible in practice, but I'm willing to give it a try. I will check this thread as often as I am able and will post a reply each time I update the list. Please do not post feedback on the concept in this thread; if you have any requests or useful feedback please post it in This thread. (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=41173)

They could do, but I may not be keeping the format like that, depending on whether it seems sensible.

Game: ComfortZone (game thread (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=41222)) (llamaserver score graphs (http://www.llamaserver.net/showScores.cgi?game=A1ComfortZone))
Nation: MA Tien Chi
Setup: All Nation MA llamaserver game. No mods.
The story so far: Tien Chi was fighting an apparently successful campaign against Ashdod when a cannibalistic giant sabotaged poor Nikelaos's computer. Without their leader, all accountability within the imperial bureaucracy collapsed: reports went unfiled, memos went uncollated. Pure chaos.

It's turn 27. The giants have been on the offensive but exterior forces seem to be aligning against them. Can you pull Tien Chi back from the brink?

Please note: the game will host in under 20hrs. If no sub is found, TC will be set AI. So act fast!

Game: ComfortZone (game thread (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=41222)) (llamaserver score graphs (http://www.llamaserver.net/showScores.cgi?game=A1ComfortZone))

Nation: MA Arcoscephale

Setup: All Nation MA llamaserver game. No mods.

The story so far: Arcoscephale has just launched a successful sneak attack against Pangaea. Cries of foul play by the Gorgan-worshiping hippies have fallen on deaf ears, as Pangaea's recent Mother Oak power move gives Arcoscephale quiet international support.

It's turn 28. You're on the offensive. You have momentum. Most importantly, the world is on your side. Can you lead the phalanx to victory?

Please note: this nation has never staled. First come, first served.

EA Arcocephale.

Turn 15. Good position.

Unique thing about human war - its only humans. No giants. Werewolves, abyssians. An interesting twist and a good game. No clear winners, currently. A good chance to experience EA Arcocephale's GREAT magic, without threat of military domination.

You havea good bless, fine borders, good allies.

WildPansies is a fun new 'theme'ish' game looking for players. it uses the infinite sands map with no indies. it is a desert land devoid of almost all life, you have only your own followers to depend upon.

this map is huge and only has starts for eight players. all the desert means that despite larger empires, income remains low. however there are lots of magic sites (but maybe not a lot of water ones :)

this is a more specialized game that will take very deliberate design choices to win. do you have what it takes?

Seriously, you've got the whole western ocean to yourself, your neighbor (Shinuyama), has just been set to AI. And, you have tons of cash, and probably a lot of default research done while the previous player staled. It's not a bad position, on a nice map.

Are you a vet who wants to kick some noob butt? Are you tired of playing against other vets and are ready for a new challenge?

The Game: Noobs vs. Vets (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42004) is currently recruiting alternate/standby players for both the Noob and Vet teams.

The game is just beginning and promises to be an action packed slugfest. Now's your chance to reserve your spot.

Just PM me your e-mail address and pick a team, it's that easy. When a spot opens up you'll have first priority for a temp or permanent position.

Sub needed for MA Chronicles, willing to roleplay the wee folk in their crusade to end war. The position has no real chance of winning but could be fun to play out if you take it in the right light, and has plenty of opportunity to do damage to its aggressor and its former opponent. - Mictlan: You can pm DonCorazon;
- Pythium: You can pm me until Saturday if you want a sitrep, or DonCorazon afterwards.

Its a small interesting game - with about 6 players left. After a couple early wars, the game quieted down as everyone tried to build up and now war is starting to erupt as we head toward some endgame fireworks. Its a nice group, friendly, open to any skill level.

Not so short version: EA Chronicles is currently seeking subs for Maverni, Ulm and -possibly- Lanka (I'm still hoping that player will come to their senses and keep on going with the game :D ). We're also looking for a temporary sub for Sauromatia (player is experiencing hardware issues, will be back once they're resolved.).

We're on turn 14, Maverni has had 3 stale turns, Ulm 5, Lanka and Sauromatia none.

For the gist of what the game is about:

Dominions is, at its core, a strategy game and the vast majority of the multiplayer community treats it exactly as such. However, it is also a game of high fantasy civilizations that somebody (usually Kristoffer Osterman) poured their creativity into to give us more than just statistics to work from. This game focuses on that aspect of Dominions. In it, players will seek to guide their chosen nation as they believe such a nation would behave with a god such as theirs. And as they lead their nation they will chronicle its progress, perhaps through the eyes of god, or perhaps through the lesser voices of his subjects. While the goal of any strategy game is absolute victory, the goal of this game is to tell the tales and record the thoughts of the many peoples who put their faith in idols and seek to elevate them to Godhood.

If your interested, PM me (including your email address and the nation your interested in) and I'll hook you up ASAP because we're not slowing the game down while looking for subs.

Hope to see ya in game.

In a few days I'll be unable to access the internet. I'll be gone for a couple of months.

I'm looking for subs for the following games:

Beyond: MA Atlantis, turn 27, you own the oceans in Asia Twist. In a slight kerfuffle with C'tis and Caelum.

Lapis: MA R'lyeh turn 23, you own the oceans in Asia Twist. At peace.

Comfort Zone: MA C'tis turn 67. MA Mictlan is on a rampage and it does not look good for the lizards, or anyone else for that matter (and everyone else but Jotunheim appears to be fighting Jotunheim, not Mictlan).

Preponderance: team game, MA Marignon, turn 58, at peace.

Update: I've gotten a sub for Beyond. I still would like subs for:

Lapis: MA R'lyeh turn 23, you own the oceans in Asia Twist. At peace. Very good potential, and you can either temp sub or permanently sub if you like.

Comfort Zone: MA C'tis turn 67. Very terrible potential, but could be fun for a laugh. You've got some tarts to play with but the Chalice is now Mictlan's. Mictlan has some great tart-killing tactics too, so you can pick up some cool ideas by fighting him.

Preponderance: team game, MA Marignon, turn 58, at peace.

We need a sub for Ashdod in the game Rothfuss http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42004.

The game is in turn 61 and Ashdod holds half of the map, but is in a winning war with T'ien C'hi(played by me) and clashing with Pythium.

Ashdod just had his Arcane Nexus replaced by one from Pythium, but managed to get income from Nexus for 7-8 turns, so he might be able to take it back again.

The game is in the epic late stage with a bunch of globals going around and the fate of the world will likely be decided within 10 turns.

This is a great opportunity to see some real late game action. Please contact the user zzcat for details.

Need a sub for MA Ermor in Faltering Steps. You are the most powerful player in the game, with three other players active. You have four globals active, and are not at war with anyone except the AI nations. Previous player has staled for two turns now, so you have a lot of money and a lot of reanimated undead. It's a very good position.

Sub needed for LA Gath in the Cripple_Fight game (the features only nations that have not won a single MP game, hence the name). Link to the game thread: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42866

The player is having troubles with his internet connection and has given permission to search for a sub. So this subbing could be temporary (until viccio gets his connection back) or permament, depending how the subber wants it to be. gath has staled 2 last turns. However, the game is on turn 14 so no major damage has happened. He is doing quite well on graphs too, actually.

Here are the game statistics of the game:
http://www.llamaserver.net/showScores.cgi?game=Cripple_Fight

If yuo're intrested, contact me.

If you'd like to get more info, contact user Calahan who is a neighbour of Gath and able give more information about Gath's position.

The game is on hold until sub is found, so please try to contact ASAP, so that we can get the game going.

Hello all, um, I've been a quasi-lurker/very occasional contributor here (in Dominions land, that is), and previously I've kept my MP play to my RL friends, but they for the most part seem to have lost their interest in the game (yeah, I don't know what to say about that, don't know what's wrong with them), while the fires of conquest still burn hotly in my breast ;)

So anyhow, I'm finally willing and desirous to dip my toe into the general melee, but don't know how to get started! Basically, how do I join an "at large" game? To get in the swing of things, I'd gladly take over/sub for some other game at first (such as the offer of Niefelheim mentioned above), if someone could baby-step me into it.

After that, I'm sure someone could help me out in how to join a new game and all that. But baby steps might be advisable at first (although I did pretty well in MP against my RL friends, I suspect that experience might not translate well against the "international" Dominions community...).

So anyhow, any help on getting started on my new career as "whipping boy" would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Well, in this situation it appears a sub has already been found and I forgot to update the posts. That is my fault.

I personally only enjoy the game when I play it from start to finish. Subbing turns out not to be my deal. Though I've been told by some that it really helps them obtain perspective.

Joining a game is rather easy. New games are started all the time here. Just keep an eye out for new threads in the "Multiplayer and AARs" forums. Also, ready the stickies on the forum as well. A lot of the games, such as the ones I'm playing, are hosted by the llamaserver. Though there are other people who also selfishly devote a server to the cause. The stickies will explain more about how these servers work and how to find them. Though most of the work is handled by the host of the game, so its not really necessary.

What you basically need to know is: find a new game thread, read the conditions of the game, and present your interest in the game via a post on that thread. Most of the time, all you need to do is say you'll play a nation of the appropriate era. If you have questions from there, your host will generally answer them for you once voiced.

Good luck.

Hey, can someone help me out on how to join a LlamaServer game? I was interested in joining the Art_of_War game (seems to be filling up fast though), and was sort of confused by the FAQ. It says I "should post on the thread saying what nation you'll be", but as far as I can tell, LlamaServer is not a forum where you can post your intentions.

What should I be doing? Should I just make a pretender and send it in via these instructions - "E-mail the file to: pretenders[ at ]llamaserver[ dot ]net" and "have the game name in the subject line of your e-mail"? Is that all I need to do, or is there another step I'm missing?

Probably too late for AoW, but maybe I'll be ready for the next game - I really need to get my toes into the pool :)

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should have posted in the game thread (for Art-of-war it would have been this one : http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=43097) ...
but actually you are to late for AoW ... game is already full.

For your next game ... post a msg in the game-thread (in the shrapnel-forum mp section http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=145) with the nation you want to play. After the game is full, you should send your pretender to the adress you have mentioned.

If you don't want to wait just open your own game.

Thanks mighty_scoop. So if I understand correctly, all LlamaServer games also get posted here in this forum?

I guess that's what I couldn't figure out. How accurate/up-to-date is the LlamaServer information? Right now, it's showing that Art_of_War is still open (14 out of 16 nations)? Is that accurate ("Last updated at 16:45 GMT on Tuesday May 19th")? Where should I be looking for the most current information?

And if I see a game I'm interested in, what's the first thing I should do to reserve a slot? Sorry if these questions seem super-noob, but I've never played MP outside of my small circle of friends (but I'd like to expand on that), and I don't know what to do.

Thanks for any more help!

Llamaserver updates every 5 minutes.
Open spot means that pretenders can be sent in, but usually the game is organized and those spots reserved before it's opened on llamaserver (can take a while for everyone to send in their pretenders, though, different time zones etc).

Just look for a thread here that's new or says looking for players to reserve a spot.

Thanks mighty_scoop. So if I understand correctly, all LlamaServer games also get posted here in this forum? [...]

The other way around ... first step to open a game is to make a thread here in this forum ...
after the game is full the game admin (mostly the one who started the thread) creates the game on llamaserver ... after that the player who posted in the thread that they want to play send in their pretenders.
To summarize ... on the forum you start and find games. On the llamaserver you play games and get infos about running games.

[...]

Still open in this case means, that 2 of the 16 participants didn't yet send their pretenders ... not that they are still searching for players (that's as mentioned above part of the forum).

If you want to play in a game, don't look at the llamaserver ... search this forum for games still searching for players (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=41304 this thread is helpful) ... or ... perhaps the best way ... just start one by yourself ( take a look at this thread http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=39877)

Ah, I get it now, I hope. Thanks you guys! So if I understand you both correctly, any game that is on LlamaServer will be posted here for potential membership first (so post your intention to join here).

I only need to go to LlamaServer after I've found and announced my intention to join a game here (and have created a pretender), unless I want to start a new game of my own, that is?

That sounds correct. The forums are used to collect players and organize the games. The servers are then used to execute the games that have been organized. Each stands apart but are used in concert with each other to make gaming with strangers possible.

Art_of_War may appear open on the server, but those open positions have been reserved by players here at the forum. If you blankly submitted a pretender to that game you would be edging out a player who was promised a spot in that game. It would then only be a matter of time before the player spoke up and had you kicked from the game.

Most Importantly:

I'm looking for players who won't quit playing, even if they are reduced to one province or have been ousted from their home province. There is no shame in getting wiped off the map by a force of 100 Jotuns with an Astral-9, Nature-9 bless. At least that's what I tell myself in my morning affirmations. Every player who joins must take a blood oath to play everything out, no excuses. (Nose Bleeds do count, i guess, although mindless nubile virgins will do). Also, any diplomacy, non-aggression pacts, etc. are completely used-car salesman style, nothing binding. Lying, cheating, stealing, and tricking your opponents while you reign victorious is completely acceptable, and, in fact, encouraged. But winning isn't the only objective here, watching lots of epic bloody battles is. Let's make this fun.

If you are interested in playing, sign up in the Orphic Thrench thread in this MP section.

20 VP required for victory. (VPs awarded/counted once/year, i think.)

Dominions uses a multiple of 5 for some odd reason when tallying VP, so keep that in mind when viewing totals in game.

A unique opportunity is available to all those interested in participating in Noobs & Vets: Rise of the AI Menace. Several things set this game apart from what is currently available:

1. This is a team game: You'll have a chance to enjoy a cooperative experience as well as to learn from more experienced players on your own team.

2. This game incorporates an AI element: For those players who enjoy a good Comp Stomp (to use an RTS term) every now and then or wish to improve their skills vs. the AI, the introduction of a competent AI team adds an interesting if not challenging twist to the game.

3. Alternate/standby players: You may join as a non-starter in an alternate slot and have a chance to possibly play more than one nation in a supporting, temporary, or relief capacity.

You can find the game here:

Come and join us while the opportunity is available!

Hi,

I am new to these forums and have only been playing Dominions for a few weeks (only as single-player and only for about 40 turns or so) but i want to play a multiplayer game. I can't commit too much time (maybe 1 turn every 2 or 3 days) but i would like to play. Is this possible? is there a game that would suit me?

Thanks.

The game Noobs & Vets (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=43928) has additional alternate slots available for interested players.

Being an alternate is really a goodness and a blessing. Why you ask?

Doesn't require as large a time commitment as being in the starting lineup.

You are potentially able to play up to 4 nations, instead of being limited to just one.

You have access to the team forum and are privy to all team discussions.

A guaranteed position in the starting lineup of the next game in the series with first or second choice nation privileges and/or other bonuses.

When it comes right down to it, being an alternate is a great thing. I wish more game creators incorporated the idea and took the time to think ahead. So don't miss out, be an alternate today!

I'll be going on vacation next week until mid October and I'm looking to get some cover for my positions in the meantime;

1) Mists of Time, EA TC, turn 50. Strong position though its graphs off - so who knows? Turns will take a fair amount of time though, as you'll land right in the middle of a war with bloodhappy Lanka

2) Acronymless, nation X, turn 39 middle era, RAND 'ish'. Fast game as diplomacy is only allowed through in-game messages. Unfortunately our admin for this one seems to have disappeared.

3) Vicious Circle 3, Sauromatia, turn 30+. Decent, still relatively early in the game and no ongoing wars so quick turns.

4) The Early Days, Mictlan, turn 20+. Very tough, though its your chance to pit your wits against Baalz's Hinnom. Survive and be a hero!

SummerMadness is looking for a permanent sub for Fomoria.

It's turn 55. Fomoria has staled 3 out of the 4 past turns, and it just got invaded by Yomi (1 turn in), but it's mostly intact. The nation spent most of the game amassing troops, teching up, and fighting EA R'lyeh to a stalemate. The nation has good tech, poor gem income (or presumably is clamming or something), and had a rather defensible position.

This will definitely be a challenging scenario given that Arcoscephale leads in overall charts, Pangaea employs a crushing dompush supported by Carrion Woods, Yomi dominates with magic research and decked out Dai Oni SCs, and Atlantis is entrenched in water with strong magic income and plenty of provinces. I *think* Fomoria has good relations with his few other neighbors though (Arcoscephale, Atlantis) so something might work out alright. But winning is going to be really difficult.

Fortunately the aim of the game is strategic exploration, so people have some pretty quirky combos set up, and I'd imagine it would be interesting to play in a world with some alternative strategies employed.

PM Elegy (current admin) to get more info.

If I am interested in moving this along, how should I go about it?

I've only been playing a month, and I'm in 2 games and starting a third, so I don't think I should commit to another just yet. I have no idea how time consuming mid and late game will be (assuming I even get there!).

Look at these two threads:

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=44308
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=44211

Both recent games by first time hosts, both doing an excellent job(by my own assessment in the first case, and based on comments in the thread for the second).

Some vets are willing to offer sage advice when things appear to be bogging down, too. If I get killed off in one of my games soon and yours is not up yet, maybe I will try hosting. But don't wait for me, I plan on vanquishing all foes and that may take some time.;)

Good luck!

Sub needed for Abysia or Ryleh in Forge of Godhood.

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com//showthread.php?t=43675

Abysia is in one of the top positions. Ryleh is turtling well and doing excellent.

This game is slow moving and very odd with crippling settings. It requires some real finesse to play because you are extremely limited in gold, gems, and research. But it's quite exciting.

The plan is either someone subs Abysia or I take over Abysia and get a sub for Ryleh. I hope there are takers.

The Abysia position would be quite rough for a new player but I think the Ryleh is manageable and coaching is freely available.

The nation is fairly strong and to my knowledge has never suffered any great losses. But three of its four neighbors are also very strong. The nation has recently started a war with neighboring Vanheim (that's me!) and you'd be jumping right into that. You'd have Blood 9 and a large number of demons to play with (including four Heliophagi). Also Gift of Health.

I will be unable to play any dominions after january 7th. I need a replacement for the following games:

Forge of Godhood: Middle-age R'leyh: comfortable but not a dominant position. Currently sieging Man's capital. Generally peaceful with most neighbors. Game is sort of weird- the settings are set to ultralow resources and gems so you have to play differently.

Casual EA for Busy Schedules: Early-Age Sauromatia: Meant to be sort of a newb game so first dibs go to any newer players. Fairly dominant position with a comfortable tech position (1st), territorial position (2nd i believe) and good gems (2nd or maybe 3rd but pretty high none-the-less). Have a nice set of artifacts and nice super-combatants. I really like this game and its a shame to have to leave it... whoever inherits this is going to have some real fun- just declared on helheim- took some peripheral territory- just starting to close in on his first fort. Stage of game is about middle i think...?

David and Goliath (another sort of newbie game). Early Age Helheim: Doing good again i think. First in territory and about 2nd or 3rd in gems, research is good (maybe 3rd or 4th). Got lots of nice thugs ready to go. Got some good allies and its soon time to go to war. Still in the early stages.

Oops, forgot to post my request here too. Wrana was kind enough to take Mictlan off my hands, but I still need someone for MA R'lyeh:

"MA R'lyeh in FastBlitz (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=44159). This is a very interesting game, with an unusual set-up (300% gold/resources/supplies, easy research, and 75% magic sites). Three other nations are left - Abysia, C'tis, and Bandar Log. It's only turn 37, but with the easy research, it's practically late game territory, but the set-up parameters still have the emphasis on mega-armies and huge numbers of mages. No graphs are on, so it's hard to compare, but I'd have to put my money on R'lyeh: easy research + plenty of cash = happy times for the Star Spawn! They just need someone who can take the time to do things properly."

"Anyhow, that still leaves R'lyeh available. Yeah, R'lyeh and easy research might seem a bit overwhelming, but this would be someone's chance to play with all the high-end magic, communions, etc.. I'd be surprised if R'lyeh is not leading in research. And you'd have tons of Starspawn and Starchildren to play with (thanks to the 300% gold)! I don't want to give too much away here, but again, I'll happily PM full details if to anyone who gives them a good home :) "

Temporary SUB requested!

Due to wrongly anticipating the attention for my newly started game Oceans of Land I have put myself in a bit of a situation.

The game is now accepting Pretenders and will start when all pretenders are in. However I need to go abroad for work on tuesday and will only be back on friday. It's best to start the game anyway, but I will need a sub to do my turns on wednesday and thursday please!
It's simple as the game will just have begun.
Please PM me if you would like to help out!

Hi,

I need a sub for a bit under a week for the following two games:-

mindblade - you will take charge of Middle Age Pangaea in this multi-era game. MA Pangaea is well placed and shouldn't need too much micro-management. Watch the borders whilst engaging in a war atgainst a single opponent on a relatively narrow front.

hurt_locker - you will take charge of Marveni being squeezed by two opponents, both of whom now have bloodied noses (which has probably just pissed them off), some interest will exist in keeping the brave armies of Marveni going forward on two short borders while keeping competitive in the research race. Druids rule - but are difficult to keep in the field and the lab simultaneously.

Will need to sub over the easter weekend and following 3 days whilst I head into the country side to chop trees out of a freezing cold creek for a holiday.

Please PM for details ...

Call for Captains :call:

Noobs and Vets II, the second game in the Noobs and Vets series and my fifth large scale team game has entered the early recruitment phase. Before we can begin, we should have captains for all of the teams.

I am in need of veterans or intrepid intermediates with the courage, conviction, and abilities to step up to the challenge and helm one of the four teams. Each team has their own set of strengths, specific pretenders, and abilities, but only one will achieve ultimate victory.

Children of Crom:

"But Crom is your god, Crom and he lives in the earth"

With earth, fire, siegecraft, forging, arms, armor, the enigma of steel, powerful priests and inquisitors, specific thematic pretender choices including the Forge Lord, the Cyclops, and the Scorpion King, the Children of Crom have the might, magic, and muscle needed to smash the opposition burn them to cinders.

Sanguinarium:

"There WILL be blood!"

The combination of blood, nature, death, stealth armies, vampires, reanimated legions of vine creatures, serpents and other creeping things, suggests the Sanguinarium team has everything it needs to ensure that their enemies drown in lakes of their of own blood.

Supplicants of Set

"Death, like birth, is a secret of Nature"
- Marcus Aurelius

What exactly is this secret? If the Supplicants have their way, their enemies will discover the answer sooner than they had expected. Death, dying, necromancy, conjuration, enchantment, the spirit world, toxic natural substances, these are the tools of their dark art. The Lich Queen, Master Lich, Ghost King, and Prince of Death, just a few of their horrific practitioners.

The Usurpers:

"The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord ... it is best to win without fighting"
- Sun Tzu

Such is the the theme of the Usurpers, led by the bizarre and otherworldly R'lyeh (aka The Gimp). Masters of astral magic, thaumaturgy, mind control, magic research, and time and space travel, the Usurpers are easily able to mentally commune with one another to increase their power and to reach out and blast the minds of their opponents or turn them against one another without the need for much physical combat.

Have the guts to answer the call?

Noobs and Vets II is in need of team advisors and alternates.

What are some qualities of advisors?

Advisors are unselfish :angel, patient, and knowledgable. They are often natural born teachers. Willing to help out new players by dispensing often impartial guidance and direction. They seek to promote the greater good.

What role do advisors and alternates play in the NaV series?

Team advisors just answer questions from noobs and other team members and are there to assist the team captain in providing guidance and direction. They may fill the gap and act as resident experts when IRC or group chat is inconvienient or unavailable to use. They do not actively control any nation nor decide overall team operations. In NaV II, advisors may also act as ambassador for a team, conveying the team's wishes and desires to other teams and players.

Alternates are players who have pledged in advance to fill in or sub on the team of their choice should the team need it. In NaV II, Alternates desiring a more active role may also act as diplomatic envoys and may even engage in espionage and intelligence operations against other teams.

Both positions are ideal for players with less available free time. Both allow you to participate and yet not participate in the game and also give you the opportunity to communicate and perhaps learn from others at the same time.

Show your support for noobs, the greater good of the Dom3 community, and the team game concept by visiting the link below and pledging your assistance to this most worthy of causes:

Marverni needs a temporary sub in Oceans of Land game.
It's recently started and we are currently at turn 19.
Our western borders are under attack from Kailasa. First wave has been repelled and we have taken one of they provinces even to close the bottleneck position the surrounding mountains give us.

Sauromatia have agreed on a NAP-3 and to the north we have Pangaea, no agression.
We own about 10 provinces and have a healthy economy.
Please contact me if you want to help out for a week. I need a sub from friday till monday the week after (this contains a little buffer just in case).

looking for sub to fill in Kailasa slot in Oceans of Land game.

I'm Kailasa, in a playable position, but not that great as I've been at war practically all game. basically I just lost interest in the game, especially now that 2 people have already subbed out, and like 3-4 others already died, I just don't have the heart for this game any longer...

Sub needed for Pyrite ! From July 15 to July 22.

Nation : LA Arcoscephale. The game will be around turn 45. Arco is a small nation, so it won't be very long to play the turns. I am at war with Atlantis (nation #1 in the game), along with some Atlantis challengers (Mictlan) and other minor or mid sized neighbours of Atlantis.

Game speed : 2 days / turn, this subbing should be light to handle. But for me, it is important since any stale during the war against Atlantis could be dramatic.

I need subs for my two games during my holiday. I'll be gone from 23.7. to 8.8.

My EA Ulm in Master Blaster is in some trouble. I've followed a turtling strategy, but Kailasa has just attacked and I'm scrambling to defend. It's about turn 40 so it's middle game, though some high-level research is already around. This is a noob game, so an experienced sub isn't appropriate. On the other hand, a completely green player might find the situation too challenging.

In Abandon, I think my Bandar Log is doing quite well. In provinces and gem income Bandar Log is second only to Man. We're approaching turn 60, so it's already late game. Shinuyama has just been a victim of ganging after they cast the Well of Misery and the Eternal Pyre. They've lost almost all their territory, but the world is under Utterdark now.

PM me for details.

Our (EA) Abysia player in the Troubling Times game seems to have disappeared without a sign of life, so I'm looking for someone intrested in taking over the position. The game is graphs off, so I have little idea about their strength myself, but they have been described as 'regional power' and 'fairly strong'. They are currently - together with some allies - at war with C'tis. Also, they only staled once, so that shouldn't have caused too much damage. (hopefully.)

We're currently at turn 27, so the nice stage of allready having some decent magic to play with without being overwhelmed by micromanagement. Yes, you can skip right to the best part of the game! ;)
