Hi, buddies!
Unit 605 >> M1A1B Abrams !!! Abrams tanks never were part of the Brazilian army.

Did you read the information for the formation that appears on the purchase screen? It was obviously provided as a what-if by the OOB designer, and is so noted.

QUOTE from information tab

================================================== ========
M1 Tank Platoon*
*
The USA Congressional record has an approval for the sale of a number of stockpiled M1A1 Abrams. It is unclear if the sale ever went through because the political climate shifted drastically after the sale was announced.*
*
In any case, the Abrams would only be able to operate in certain highly built-up areas of the country due to its heavy weight. It is provided in a platoon-sized formation for hypothetical urban conflict.*
================================================== ========

If you can provide us with information that this sale never has and /or never will happen we will remove that from the OOB

I do not think any reference to sale or contract of cooperation between USA and Brazil concerning the Abrams tanks.
Checked DSCA (http://www.dsca.mil/research.htm) on a contract to respect and nothing found.

It's on the list to look into. For now I've moved the formation to the Misc page

Ok, Don. So be it.:up:

Suggestion to unit 45:
The PIRANHA III-C has become the standard armored vehicle on wheels the Marine Corps - CFN, the Brazilian Navy, and without a doubt is the armored vehicle newest and most modern design in use in Brazil, surpassing all other currently.

The Brazilian navy has confirmed the purchase of another 18 (eighteen) vehicles Armored MOWAG Piranha III C which sum up to 12 (twelve) previously acquired, totaling 30 (thirty).
