Hi.
This is the first scenario I made and i would like opinions on it. It Israel Vs. Egypt in 2010.

Todah Rabah
I played and got a decisive victory. I stayed off the roads and went 'south' on the map and came out in the area marked hovet. There I met the main enemy force and dispatched them. I headed 'north' and took their main camp. I was surprised by their reinforcements but had left 3 Merkava's and a Peten in that area and that was enough to destroy them. It was fun but maybe a little too easy. Maybe some more ATGM's for the Pharohs troops. :-)
Anyway thanks and keep up the efforts.

hmmm... yeah actually i was surprised at how easily the MK3s handle the M1s...Shouldent have been surprised by the enemy it was in the briefing though:). I shall give the Egyptians some more punch. Thanks so much for the feedback.

Who needs the stinking briefing :-) I actually scanned it and winged the attack. My bad.
I too was surprised on how easy it was to kill the M1's. Maybe the US sells them faulty tanks. :-)
I will try the next version later thanks.

Could be faulty intelligence :-).. When I play your 2nd version I will make sure to be aware of their reinforcements.
By the way, here is a scenario that I made a while back, not a tanker one but an Israeli based one you might enjoy.

Played your 2nd version tonight. It was harder. More missles flying about. I got a decisive victory but this time but I lost a Merkava and an APC. :-(

War is hell. Israelis are supposed to be able to win this one decisive, if the player is good. Do you think its still too easy?

I think it is probably OK. I have been playing for years and I know where the reinforcements will be showing up. Maybe add an air strike. Those always add another dimension to things. I am very surprised on how badly the M1's perform vs the Merkava's. Anyway I like modern Israeli based scenarios. If you have anymore ideas, please let us hear them.

Don't get discouraged.
Do you make your maps from real topographic maps?

thanks. Ill see if the next one gets some attention. i promise to have it done by saturday.

No sorry. Im thinking of the tactical situation i want to creat for the player and than make a map for it. But I do know the areas we are talking about in an intimate way. The maps represent an avrage piece of that ara not a specific piece.
Would you be more inclined to play them if i did use topographic maps?
In case your intrested the new one im working on is again, Israel Vs egypt. I know i just did one of thse but they are the perfect enemies, in the perfect theatere. the desert is like a sandbox for tactics. The sscenario will start as a special forces raid and turn to a(hopfully) very brutal combined arms assault.

I am looking forward to it. The Special Forces piece sounds interesting.

I was asking mainly because I'm looking to work with a topographic mapmaker. Unfortunatly there's not many about.
And the ones there are, have thier own projects to concern themselves with.
I have an idea for a campaign where the player gets muajahadeen militants, and has to fight all the various forces in Afghanistan/Pakistan allied against them.
I guess I could just make fantasy maps, but players seem to enjoy something that touches on reality more.

Im more intrested in the reality as far as the tactical situations.

Ok. My second scenario is almost ready. I know it took much longer than I said but there is alot going on with school, work, and this situation in Gaza. I will try and have it somewhere during this week. It is a commando raid that turns into an armoured assault.
