Tomb Oracles have only one eye

Zeldor and I have noticed that Tomb Oracles appear to have only a single eye? We've summoned a fair amount and when they recieve eye injuries they get the "Lost his only eye" affliction, rather than the "Lost an eye", as you would expect. As far as I know, all living agarthans have two eyes. Is this an oversight or WAD?

I was pretty sure they have only one eye. not at home so don't have the graphic in front of me, but doesn't even their sprite show only one eye?

Agartans are one-eyed. Read the description on any of their units.

Ha, never bothered to take a look at EA or MA AGartha, they are so weak and sad to look at. And it still amazes me how they got so many imprisoned gods that they defeated and put Umbrals on guard.

Umbrals aren't on guard. The Seal Guards are on guard - and they have magical obsidian lances to harm the Umbrals.

Actually, the Umbrals are the spirits of those who sacrificed themselves to create "The Seal", which we don't know for sure what it holds. The Seal Guards are guarding the rest of Agartha from the increasing number of Umbrals (and maybe other things? wights?) that are becoming more numerous as "The Seal" weakens. :p

That's a very wrong attitude. There are many interesting nations that are not among top MP picks. You are missing a lot.

I completely agree. It is much more fun (and perhaps classy) to pick nations of moderate power and make them work, rather then sell out to the big guns.

What I meant was that they don't look fun. Look at recruitment screen of MA Agartha. With like 65 nations to play I find many many more interesting nations to choose [not based on strength]. I got LA Agartha in Kingmaker because no one else wanted them, and I love them now :)

MA Agartha is not about their recruitment, it's about national summons..... and thematic feel. But mostly the summons. :p

Yea, they look sad, but they are a nation going extinct. Their sad look is quite thematic actually. And I agree, EA/MA agartha is mostly a nation of summons (MA especially).

LA Agartha is the best of the three because they actually have decent mages. Ironic, considering how EA is generally supposed to be the "magic-heavy" era.

It's not so much a matter of making them worse as explaining why they're so bad (in terms of attack/defense/precision). Aside from that, unless you're facing eye shields, the practical difference between one/two/many eyes is essentially nil.

P.S. I guess it does prevent you from using Eye of Aiming to boost Oracles' precision.

Y'all are nuts. EA-Agartha *rocks*, but it depends on the game settings.
EA's strengths are not apparent from their units, so you have to look deeper than than that to see the synergies for this race.

But they *do* have rotten attack/defense/precision, and it's because they have only one eye. That doesn't mean they're a rotten nation.

EA Agartha is one of the toughest Nations around, if properly played. MA is less so, only because they're harder to play, with their kooky bless summons. Still not a really weak Nation.
