I was playing a battle, and in the pre-game bombardment i've been hit by some air strikes and naval guns, they were too accurate for a pre game bombardment, 5 strafing planes came in, 3 attacked bunkers, 1 attacked my panthers, and another 1 my arty park, then 8 inch guns bombarded my infantry, again with surgical precision, then i set up a test, bought a few air strikes, and arty for the AI, and a few tanks, bunkers and guns for me, i place them in random, places, into dense woods and behind a hill, when the bombardment came in, howitzers obliterated my arty and AA park, air strikes cam in and attacked all my hidden and ramdomly placed units, ran the test 10 times, 7 out of 10, they were surgicaly accurate, only 3 times during the test they were random, so my conlcusion was that the AI knew where my units were, and my question is How the AI plots arty/air strikes ? "Cheating"?

Hardly my experience. AI is targeting "likely" places (reverse slopes, roads etc.) but in my last attempt on SPWW2 campaign its initial bombardment usually pretty well missed my troops (dipersed and all that).

Perhaps too small map for the points?

i used medium map, and had only 3000 points force, guess the AI was lucky

When the arty hits my units its cheating, when it misses their idiots.

I would say the arty routines are pretty good for the AI. It does do some silly things but one game out of five it seems to get its act together & land stuff right on the money.
Strangely its like its on steroids because it tends to try flanking & stuff with its ground troops in the same game. These games are great as all of a sudden you find the need for both brain cells to beat it.
