Question: Any parents in this forum playing Dom3 with their own kids ?
If yes, how old are those kids ? How exactly did the kid's interest in Dom3 started ?
Any Dom3 player here is watched by kids while playing ?
If non-English, do you have to translate the in-game text to the kids ?

To start with myself, i have no own kids (yet) but i am sometimes watched playing by my young nephews.

Sure I am.
Not a big deal since my kids are 30 and 32.
I also play with my brother-in-law who is 31.
They mostly kick my tail. Most of our games include a stealth player, a researcher, and one barbarian horde.

This is public knowledge, if you were to search the Dom 2 forums carefully enough: Panther and Tauren played (including a team game, IIRC). Tauren was college age at the time. Tauren still pops in once in a while.

My young nephew started watching me play Civ IV this summer. He's too young to be interested in Dom 3, but the Civ IV graphics are appealing. I altered my strategy and let him decide which building to build for a while. Later, we he was not around, I continued plotting global nuclear destruction.

I played some with my little brother and cousin (ages 9 and 8). They liked all the options available, but finally settled on playing flying bird-men with mammoths vs. frost giants (Caelum vs. Niefelheim). They got through more than a year of game time but then the family reunion ended and we never finished it.

my offspring is still in the making (he should've been born 4 days ago so it won't be long) so playing dom 3 with him isn't an option yet... though if he's as bright as his father I should be able to start that in a few years :D

My 16 month old daughter likes to walk up to my laptop and start playing wih the cursor keys to move the map around. It's a start, I guess...

Oh, and gratz Aezeal. Don't expect to sleep properly for a few months.
