Sob, my SC Rudra was at 100% in all resistances. Except Cold. Was hit by a Freezing Mist while mistformed. 1 point of damage, looks like it bypassed the Twist Fate from the bless... and the Armor of Virtue carried him away. Oh well, that's a pity but I'll Cloud Trapeze him in for the next turn from the place I wished for him (prov 94)... Hey, he isn't there? Aaaah, but now he's nowhere! Shown as alive in the HoF... but he disappeared! Who kidnapped my Rudra?

(Next turn I can forge again the Sickle whose crop his pain which he was wielding, still he doesn't have crosses in the HoF and there is no reason for him to be dead as far as I can tell...)

EDIT: solved so no longer needed to consume space with the attachment :)

AFAIK, he should have appeared in your capital, not in his home province.

Yeah it's cap.

What about the sickle though?

Oh, damn, my cap is underwater :D II guess he just can't reapper there, so he's not even given as dead. I really thought it was the home province of the unit.

Well thanks now I know this is not a good item for those purposes. Sob. Rest in peace my little four armed friend. :rip:

It still sounds like a minor bug no cross appeared on his HoF entry though.

I wonder if Thetis' blessing would have allowed him to return?

There wasn't even any message that he drowned or whatever

In my current MP game, I did have someone cast Returning... poofs from the assassination arena... and he was nowhere to be found. Returning is a bit buggy IMO, though in your case there was an obvious answer.

You don't get message about drowning when you teleport into water. And yeah, I also did Returning with my Golem as R'lyeh. Not cool.

Even more amusing....

A mummy (and other units) have disease or poison clouds.
And even though they're immune.. the damage triggers the armor.
And poof.. back to the capital you go...

Hmmm. Does that happen even if the mummy is already Diseased?

Are you sure you didn't cast Invulnerability or wield an Axe of Hate or something? I'm certain that in Forseti, Whollaborg had a Mummy running around with Virtue on and it never triggered itself to return. Can you post your battle? (if it's not MP)

I sent it in already; with an entry about the same, about one month back.

Yes, I'm fairly sure I didn't cast invulnerability as I never do =). Axe of hate is possible - but I believe he was wielding tartarian chains.
