I've got a problem.
I've bought a new computer, new video card etc.

Now the menu's display incorrectly. All menu thingies now display as blue stripes. In stead of the reddish background with a border they now are invisible except for vertical blue strips. It's every thing, the bars above the screen, where commanders are displayed and the end turn etc bar on the right.

I can't get it right (well, it's also on the startup menu and when I then choose full screen (I'm usually windowed) that screen then shows correctly (so it knows what it should be) but if I start a game I still see what I described above.)

Any idea's, I've updated to the latest drivers (did that 3 days ago for another game) not sure if I had the same problem before that. New drivers should usually improve stuff right not make things that where good worse?

Try downgrade the video driver and see if the problem still exist.

hmm that would make prince of persia unplayable again.

Did you tried, you can just switch the driver back.

Have you tried uninstalling / reinstalling the game?
Anything different when using Windowed Mode?
Any unusual errors in the application or system logs of event viewer?

I always recommend setting up new systems to dual-boot or triple-boot between different operating systems because you never know if one of your old favorite games will not work on the most recent Microsoft OS or if one of the new games will not work on the older Microsoft OS.

If re-install of Vista doesn't work, you could dual boot with a linux OS to run dom3 and have Vista running prince of persia.

Yeah, get Linux Mint or something, that's meant to be easy.

lol I'm not reinstalling vista only the game.. vista is just on here 2 weeks. and I'm not bothering with dual boot either (I'd not know how to do it, I might have a nice comp but I'm just using ot for gaming).. I'm nearly finished with prince then I can see if a newer driver solves it ro try an older one.

And I'm keeping Vista, it's easy for me to use :D
