Greetings, fellow pretenders. I have been thinking of hosting another game for a while now, and decided to go for a middle age this time. I would like people to play their nation, and not leave without a word. If you have real-life issues that can't be avoided, I understand. If you know you will be going for a long time, please find yourself a sub, or at least set yourself to AI and inform me about it.
Without further useless babbling, I present you with Beyond.

Middle Age.
19 players (16 land, 3 water - Yes this means that someone will have to play MA Oceania). Ashdod reserved for some new player, no experienced players for them, thanks ;)
Doesn't matter how experienced you are - you learn by playing, and I hope you play to have fun :)

Victory Conditions: Either remaining players vote on winner or last pretender still in the race.
Hosting will be done on llamaserver (http://www.llamaserver.net/), 27h/turn for start, moving to 51h/turn later on.

All other settings normal but renaming on and 15 HoF entries. Magic sites at 50.

Non-aggression pacts / trades / whatever you conduct diplomatically are not enforced. Don't quit the game if you get backstabbed. You can of course inform other players about the treachery - but what happens in this game should not be dragged into other games.

Only a warning, which we'll ignore. If you do them both, the turn will host and we'll finally be playing again! The main reason someone in the game doesn't do it is that they would see information they shouldn't have - the warning is incidental.

Ok, I didn't know that. Since Lingchih has also volunteered to help it looks like we'll even be able to avoid the warning; I can switch Mictlan and he can switch TC.

There is an error with the mac version of the latest patch, that means I (and perhaps others too) need a pause until the problem is solved.

It seems to be a mistake made by Illwinter in sending the wrong file to Shrapnel. Hopefully they will solve it fast.

I'm going to Estonia myself for a week also, from 9th to 14th (return date is not set to stone yet) to see some old friends, so that'd suit me very well. Unless somebody disagrees strongly. I'll be probably taking my laptop with me though, so I can get some turns in, but won't be using much time for that.

I may need a delay later this week. I am going in for corrective eye surgery (lasik) on Thursday, and am not sure how long until I'm seeing well enough to play. My guess is two days.

I'll play every turn I have available Thursday morning my time (late wed night US), which means nothing will be due for at least a day, but may not be able to play turns then, and even if I can probably shouldn't be staring at a screen.

So, if we can either put a delay in then, or if the admin can keep an eye out and if I haven't got a turn in I'd really appreciate it. Obviously as soon as I'm ok I'll play turns and post.

If for whatever reason I'm not back longer than people are prepared to wait, I'll wear a stale or two - don't think I've vanished and waste time searching for an AI.

If I don't come back for ages please look up a good eye specialist for me because mine obviously hasn't done his job right!
