Different Version

Hi All:D

IM new here and I have a few questions since Im thinking about buying SPWW2 and SPMBT as well.:p

I have purchased SPWW version 8.4. from Matrix Games which comes with the campaigns. So that leads me to 2 questions :cold:

Is there any difference between 8.4 (matrix) and SPWW2 :rolleyes:Shrapnel). Which one of these is the newer version. :rolleyes:

And if I purchase the SPWW 2 is it compatible with the one from Matrix :confused:


I dont have SPWMBT so I will purchase it anyways but im not sure about SPWW2. If any once can provide me with info on this that would be great. :D

Yes, they are different and NO scenarios/campaigns are compatible. They are built using different base game engines.

You should be able to search numerous threads explaining the differences but these may be a pretty good start;

Thanks for the links...I bought both!!! so Im looking forward to playing but given my performance versus AI in SPWAW I think im going to have a lot of learning to do playing SPWWW versus human..
