Hey

I was wondering what would be the best starting point allowance for a PBEM campaign June 1941 - Mai 1945. Germany VS USSR

21 battles, 35turns a battle, Map size 120*120.
Everything on and all 100%.

Greetings

Short answer there isn't one set points big enough to buy whatever force you want & the AI will match it.
Long answer if you like playing with lots of good as in expensive equipment like Tigers 88s best arty probably restrict force to 100-120 units tops. The AI buys realisticly if your force is any bigger than this it will not even come close to spending all its points when it is attacking.

That map is a bit big for any small forces or leg infantry.

try 3000 - the Nazis can get about 3 leg rifle coy, a tank coy and build up the support troops as the camp progresses. (~20 tanks) - or 2 "le" tank co with 50/L42 armed pz 3 and not much else (~40 tanks)

USSR can get 3 rifle coys, 3 T-34 coys and a KV coy with plenty of change from that amount (40 tanks), probably double the tanks if they went for trash (T-26, BT)
